Hello from Jessica

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to IWAT for the year of 2018-2019. This year, IWAT has formed a strong team for the board with passion, energy, and creative ideas.

In September, IWAT had a great assembly where we passed the work plan and budget for 2018-2019 year, as well as selecting two charity organizations-Taipei Women’s Rescue Foundation (TWRF) and Premature Baby Foundation of Taiwan. IWAT will donate our charity funds in December 2018 and in spring of 2019.　IWAT will also participate in Andrea Association Food Deliver in January 2019. Since our establishment in 1984, charity has always been our main goal, and we are proud to support these organizations this year.

IWAT has a very active schedule: In October, we had a successful Bake Sale fundraiserat the Compass International Foods Festival, and a tour and luncheon at the National Taichung Theater. In November, we hada painting workshop for Christmas cards, and coming up we have Super Supao City Running, and Flora Expo Tour. In December, we will have annual Christmas party…

In addition, IWAT has many small group activities during the week: Crochet, Biking, Hiking, Movies, and much more!

lWAT’s mission of “Friends make a difference” is seen in so many ways. IWAT will continue create great memories for our members when you are staying in this great city and pack beautiful friendship with you when you move away.
